I have twin cousins, aged about 58 or so. First names Jim and John. When I read a thread like this with several exchanges between "Jims" and "Johns" I really get the feeling I am visiting these two brothers and listening to them 'chat' about stuff. It's a good thing, ok? Maybe some of you can relate to that feeling of family you get when you hang out on this (or another) site at times. Thanks for listening.
RE: Just Another Rib Eye (TwoJays)

John, that ribeye looks....very similar to the ribeyes I cooked last week. :D I just gotta remember to take a picture next time.

Last weekend (1/6/07), it was close to 70 degrees here in suburban Boston. I convinced the wife to stay home rather than eat-out, as we like to do. Got a couple of nice looking ribeyes from the market. Hot grill. Two minutes, rotate, two minutes, flip, two minutes, rotate, two minutes off the grill. A nice salad, couple of baked taters & a bottle of red made the evening complete.

Why am I reading this forum when I haven't had breakfast yet????

John

RE: Just Another Rib Eye (John A)

quote:

John,
Your middle name should be "eat mo' beef"...You certainly do support our cattle farmers..(and pig famers)
Hats off to you.........
(as I just eyeballed the steak in my fridge waiting to be cooked)

Don't forget the chicken farmers.

John

RE: Just Another Rib Eye (roossy90)

John,
Your middle name should be "eat mo' beef"...You certainly do support our cattle farmers..(and pig famers)
Hats off to you.........
(as I just eyeballed the steak in my fridge waiting to be cooked)

RE: Just Another Rib Eye (John A)

Hey DD,

I have, problem is I'd rather eat the bacon than the steak.

John

RE: Just Another Rib Eye (desertdog)

MMMMMMMMMMMM......love a good ribeye. my favorite cut. ever tried wrapping it in bacon?

RE: Just Another Rib Eye (John A)

Did that one for you Jim.

Thanks,

John

RE: Just Another Rib Eye (Jimeats)

Great pictures once again John.
