I live in the mid-west now but every chance I can I go to Gene's for the Seafood platter. A large cardboard plate loaded with fried shrimp, scallops, clams ,haddock & fries is waiting to be ordered. My mom used to get mad because I would fly in and go to Gene's before seeing her.

It is a true New England clam stand as the tables are picnic tables inside and out with half the kitchen comprised of fryers. A side of tartar sauce and a cream soda is all you can ask for. Get off the beaten path to the Cape and take old route 6 that takes you back 30 years or more.
