I live about 20 minutes from Greenwich, but about an hour from Manhattan. So how is this "right next to NYC"?

Maybe so, but the proof is in the pudding. Or in this case the pastry. Among the financial elite of that town, I suspect that there can be a "Let them eat cake" attitude. Hopefully, it is pretty good.

The question I would pose is even if this is someone trumpeting their business, is there something wrong if you are proud enough to say so?

I just found this great bakery right next to NYC. it's in Greenwich, CT and the perfect mom and pop shop. it's a Swiss bakery that does it all: danish, coffee cakes, cookies, dessert cakes and pastry's. and it's all made there. I asked them how fresh everything was and they told me that they have to restock the showcase every hour or two. they seem to be really popular with the locals. I tried their Chocolate mousse cake and it was so fluffy and the cake was so moist.
