It took a 6 hr drive to get there and 5 hours for the class so I was eager to get home. I knew it would take a little longer than outbound but I decided to take the northern route along the Canadian border, down to Plattsburg, over Lake Champlain to VT on the ferry and then down I-89 and 91 to Massachusetts. (this was all in one day, starting at 2 AM) I was not interested in a long stop to eat. I was looking for an ice cream stand. I stopped at a little, little place on Rt 11, called Molly's in Burke, NY. The hard ice cream was Hershey's. I've nothing against that brand, but I can get it at home. I got a hot fudge sundae made with soft serv. It was HUGE and the soft serv was a perfect velvet smooth tower. The soft serv was a 10 out of 10. The sauce was average. If I ever get up there again, I'll stop.
