Yup, in Santa Fe now, where I go often to "Tara"s" IC, I have seen (and sometimes tasted):

Tarragon Ice Cream
Lavender Ice Cream
Black Sesame Ice Cream
Basil Ice Cream
Garam Massala Ice Cream
Wasabi Ice Cream

My favorite: Peppermint Chip which has the taste of real just-picked peppermint herb (not the candy-peppermint type)

These are all sweet in flavor, added to a vanilla base. Not whole herbs, but herbs mixed in.

Now, is this just some wierd Santa Fe thing or can anyone comment
on their experience with hern ice cream?
