When I was living in Pittsburgh, if you compared Polish and Hungarian in the same sentence (or any two or more Eastern European Ethnic Groups) you'd be strung up by your b%$*'s All were considered enirely distinct, different and separate from eachother, it would be like comparing "Finnish" with "Nigerian". Of course having a Spanish-Portuguese restaurant "Mallorca" was "perfectly OK", however here in Rhode Island and Southeastern MA there would be an out and out riot if that ever happenned!

Right outside of Wilmington,NC there is a large Polish population and they have a Food Festival every so often to raise money and they do a mean Chicken Paprikash.And Stuffed Cabbage Rolls,Yum!

I have been having a craving of late for chicken paprikash or some real goulash. Having lived for years in a section of NJ that was populated by Hungarians that escaped during '50s, you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a great Hungarian place. Anyone know of anything within a days drive of Charlotte NC? Thanks all.
