I have been to Piggy Park many times. The BBQ was as good as ever but the Brunswick stew was a very flavorful but a litle to watery. Across the highwat from Piggy Park is the Peachtree Cafe. It is buffet style all home made from fresh ingredients. Open Sunday thru Wednesday. Only $7.75. Its fantastic.

RE: Streak O Lean Bacon (Oneiron339)

Streak o lean is mostly used in cooking such as black eyed peas or greens. I wouldn't eat it as I would regular bacon.

RE: Streak O Lean Bacon (mrclean)

While in Thomaston,Ga I would have passed on the bacon and went here for the best brunswick stew in the world. Does not get any better.

http://www.roadfood.com/Reviews/Overview.aspx?RefID=2118

RE: Streak O Lean Bacon (Poverty Pete)

I always thought of it as bacon on steroids. I actually had a conversation on this subject the other day with Buffetbuster. He promised to give it a time trial when he gets to Tuscaloosa in a few days.

Streak O Lean Bacon (sodawater43)

I had this bacon for the first time yesterday in Thomaston GA.
