You can find some information about them on the Burry Foodservice site. (I am not permitted to post a link.) Unfortunately, Burry is now exclusively a food service supplier, so you won't find their crackers--or, for that matter, their long-gone Gaucho or Fudgetown cookies--in your local supermarket.
RE: Burry's Euphrates Crackers (DavidEMartin)

Euphrates were definitely an adult cracker. When as a kid, my family went out to eat, my younger sister and I would scour the cracker basket for stuff to put in out mouths while waiting for the meal to come. That was where we first encountered Euphrates. With the careful slowness normally associated with checking out a landmine, we tried the things....... Yuck..... Okay, maybe with some butter on it....... nope, still yuck....... maybe a LOT of butter? And that's when Mom would take the Euphrates from us and steer us back toward the Waverly Wafers.

Nowadays, I think I would probably like them a lot.

RE: Burry's Euphrates Crackers (catosaurus)

The last time I looked, they could still be purchased at Trader Joe's stores.

RE: Burry's Euphrates Crackers (ScreamingChicken)

My first job was in a restaurant and I remember Euphrates as being one of if not the most popular crackers in the baskets that were placed on the tables. I'll bet we went through more of them than any other cracker.

Brad

RE: Burry's Euphrates Crackers (islandergirl)

I love those crackers.
