That's one big pot of chili and you may need it. More snow is on the way tomorrow and again this weekend up here in the frigid north country.

Life is great when you can loosen up, relax, enjoy the winter wonderland of snow and have a bowl of comfort food. That is after the driveway is plowed.

Chili has been on my mind here, but being on the other side of the pond... Well, east side of Grand Rapids had 2 inches last Friday morning (Northern part of the county had up to 6").. But with that aside, all we've had here is ice and nothing other then blah.. I've been itching to make several gallons, but the weather needs to be just right... (And you know the folks in Chicago, Indiana and western Ohio will be in the chili mode come morning! - them lucky dogs...).

So tonight the wife and I decided to fill the whole house with the smell of CHILI.

Alas my daughter who thinks that she is the main cook in the house had to help me......
