I didn't try it, but someone just down the counter ordered it and it looked great.

RE: Biscuits & Gravy In New England or NY (leethebard)

Hi,

Have never had great biscuits and gravy north of North Carolina
RE: Biscuits & Gravy In New England or NY (John A)

quote:

I've had hardees biscuit gravy in Fla. I've never indulged ... It might be regional ... are there any in your neck of the woods?
RE: Biscuits & Gravy In New England or NY (Ashphalt)

Hey, Jim! I'm impressed.

I was going to say that looking for biscuits and gravy in the Northeast is kind of like looking for fried clams in the deep South.

RE: Biscuits & Gravy In New England or NY (Jimeats)

You are going to be a little hard pressed to find that up here in New England. I have seen it on occasion as a special on the breakfast board at some spots, but not a typical breakfast standard.
One place comes to mind is the Club Diner in Lowell Ma. they have it daily on their menu. Just thought of another spot, the Belly Buster diner in Billerica Ma. I've had it at both locations, good but I've had better such as The Yorkshire in Mannasas Va. Now that was biscuits and gravey.
