Wow, I have never heard of a pizza pot pie before. Sounds interesting to say the least. I think I'm going to employ my best friend in this one and see of she will attempt it with me for our next game night :)

Ayersian went to Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder and posted a review, which is the Restaurant of the Day today. I think the Pizza Pot Pie looks great!

I too saw the show last week and was intrigued by Giordano's Stuffed Pizza where they start out similar to a Chicago deep dish pizza but then top it with another layer of crust and then top that with the red sauce. So in Washington DC this week at 2 Amys Pizzeria they had a stuffed pizza on the menu. Our disappointment was it was nothing but a variation on a calzone. I guess it is not a universal term.

I saw the same food show about the pizza pot pies and almost died and went to heaven.......

I was there (Chicago pizza and Oven Grinder) on Sunday (Dec. 23). It is located directly across the street from where the St. Valentine's Day massacre took place.

I like the pizza pot pies, but if you are a purist, you probably won't like it. I think their salad and poppy seed and creamy garlic dressings actually steal the show.

If anyone gets the chance to go, go at off-hours; the waits can be up to two hours long- and it's cash only, and not cheap.

Did the TV program specifically mention that there is such a place in Philly, and you can't remember the name? Or are you just hoping there is such a place in Philly?

Hello everybody, I saw something on TV over the weekend that got me goin crazy for something. Does anybody know where in or around Philadelphia PA to get Pizza Pot Pies. They looked AMAZING. thanks! Happy holidays
