I always ask for my mothers home made carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Moist, deeelishus, I have had 1 for the past 30 years.

My Mother always made me a "from scratch" red velvet cake.I still love those-but 2nd is German Chocolate..

What's called a Pig Pickin Cake. Mandarin orange cake with pineapples in a whipped topping. Except my mamaw doesn't use a boxed mix for the cake and she makes her own whipped topping....and no jello added. So we call it Mamaw's Cake lol

I'm partial to Lane Cake as well.....oh or a Hummingbird Cake.

Really, just cake...make it and I'll eat it!

I'm not making one, but have to order one.
My favorite is a 3-layer 7 inch white cake, pineapple and strawberry fruit filling, covered in vanilla buttercream. Classic.
