(Pwingsx)

Jjr, if anyone recommends Michelle's in Denver, run in the other direction. It's not a terrible restaurant, and it has a great candy counter, and they're supposed to be known for their ice cream concoctions, but really, the ice cream tastes like it has a wax base, and I don't what their whipped cream is really made of.

RE: Good ice cream in Denver & CO Springs area? I don't know about Colorado Springs though.

RE: Good ice cream in Denver & CO Springs area? I'm gonna geuss the good shops package their own ice cream and distribute to grocers locally.

Thanks pwingsx.

Any others out there know the Colorado ice creanm scene?

jjjrfoodie

RE: Good ice cream in Denver & CO Springs area? (Pwingsx)

Are you talking about something that is available in retail or a good ice cream shop?

In Denver, Bonnie Brae has an ice cream store, I think down on University. Best ice cream in the world. In the Bonnie Brae neighborhood (duh).

Boulder Ice Cream is available in retail locally, but I don't know how far that goes. I thought you could find it at places like Alfalfa's, or Whole Foods or Wild Oats. Not sure about that....

Good ice cream in Denver & CO Springs area?
