(angeltearsmc)

I'd do well to manage a 6 oz steak... but I have a very small stomach and small portion tolerance. Yet it still baffles me how some people have the capacity to put away 4 or 5 pounds of food in one sitting. And not just the 64-oz. steaks... that's mild compared to some competitive eaters I've seen.

RE: Did Someone Say Steak? (CajunKing)

Al

That 64 oz Porterhouse is GOOD. I had to get it medium (so the center would be a little warm), it took everything I had to finish it.

I think it was around $90 for the steak, they also have really good crabcakes and AWESOME, and I do mean AWESOME potato pancakes.

RE: Did Someone Say Steak? (mayor al)

Yes, Two my boys did it while I enjoyed a smaller order. At least i didn't have to pay for their meals...except for the snoring in the truck far into Oklahoma !!

I must admit I would like to visit some of the places in the story. I am beyond the point where I would tackle a huge steak alone...but sharing one would be a fun experience. To me, that 64 oz Porterhouse looks pretty darn good !

RE: Did Someone Say Steak? (MiamiDon)

I once convinced myself to order and finish a 48 oz. steak at Shula's steak house so that I could get my name on a plaque on the wall, and could barely move at the end of the meal. Great steak, but it was tough going. I can't imagine finishing off a four-pounder.

RE: Did Someone Say Steak?
