I prefer it to Jamesons. I don't drink much liquor at all anymore, in fact. So it's a nice treat when I have a cocktail.
RE: Favorite Cocktail (mar52)

 I've switched to Side Cars.
RE: Favorite Cocktail (EdSails)

I've been getting into Manhattans and Old Fashioned lately. I don't imbibe much 'straight' hard booze anymore...but I do take it in as a vital part of a "sweet/sour" mixed drink. I joke about a Redneck Whiskey Sour (2 Parts Mountain Dew or frozen Lemonade concentrate to one part Bourbon).. in a large enough cup (32 oz minimum), and I am pretty well set for a ball game or a dinner table surrounded by Grandchildren..
No Gin, ever. Vodka in Bloody Mary's or lime (sort of a Gimlet), not much into Rum or other stuff... But Bourbon in the Lemon mix is at the top of my ist.
RE: Favorite Cocktail (ChrisOC)

I remember Four Roses. I also remember Three Feathers.
RE: Favorite Cocktail (Davydd)

I generally drink bourbon neat. Lately I have been revolving between Maker's Mark, Knob Creek and Woodford Reserve just depending on what mood I'm in when browsing in the liquor store.
