I love it, especially when the pizza is "drowned" in a mild hot sauce like Franks. Bits of chopped chicken breast, mozzerella, parmesan, really out of this world. No blue cheese or celery.

I suggested to my 19 yr. old grandaughter that she might need therapy for her eating habbits. She loves ketchup and hot sauce but won't eat tomatoes. She won't even eat the chunky part of the hot sauce. Other things on her "dont like" list; potatoes, corn, onions, hot dogs, mustard, lettuce, or any green veggie. The list goes on and on. It would be easier to list the things she does like. Weird but she will eat a whole can of black olives, or mushrooms, and she likes bratworst. The only thing she will eat on a pizza is hamburger. The girl needs help!

Where am I going with all this? There is a great need for a national chain of food therapy clinics! But, people must first admit that they need help.

A trip to CiCi's, for a mac n cheese, would be the first place I would take those with pizza disorders. At CiCi's they also have a BBQ chicken, taco, and several desert pizzas. It has been a while since I have gone there. They may even have a Buffalo chicken pizza by now?

You are absolutely correct, sir! I spent a couple of years at the University of Buffalo, and they were just "wings". That was in the Good Old Days when the drinking age was 18. There was a pub in the basement of the dorm I was in, and they sold wings to go along with the pitchers of beer.

Like others, I was at first puzzled when I was told that the local specialty was chicken wings. Wings? (imagining something like a KFC wing) What's so special about that? That's a crummy part of a chicken! [nibble, nibble, nibble] Hmmm, I think they may have something here...

I was only kidding. Jessica Simpson is from Texas, and she did the Domino's commercial where her line was something like, "Buffalos have wings?" Or something to that effect. It was a funny commercial that came on the heels of her "Chicken of the Sea" gaff.

Oh, Lol Score! Hmm, that could be why I'm the way I am??? Naaa, I knew buffalos didn't have wings. But, when I got to the fair opening day I was in the same boat as the other folks. I had no idea what a "buffalo wing" was. Nore did hardly anyone else in Texas.

I like BBQ pizza, but a little goes a long way for me. Really any pizza tastes good with a bit of BBQ sauce, so sometimes I just have a little dipping bowl on the side.

Speaking of dipping bowls, best things I ever bought. Like so many of you I'm not a fan of slopping sauces all over everything. But I do like a bit on the side, and not running all over the plate into my veggies.

Lol Dive. I heard an comercial for Andrew's show and a guy was ordering a hot w/... ketchup on it. Andrew said "uck, do you know whats in those things". Then he took a bite of his grilled rat's head.

True that most pizza toppings started not so long ago. I doubt they had peperoni in Italy. Oh, nevermind... It's called "salame piccante" over there. But... they haven't always put it on a pizza, have they? I guess you would have to know how those first three pizzas for the princess were made.

Given the cheapness of pizza and the availability, seems silly to me that you wouldn't give it a one time try before passing judgement. Especially, if you like the two solo. Once in a while I get goat or feta cheese as a topping on my pizza and the "real" pizza makers who would laugh from their nethers can kiss mine. Score, the first year I saw any kind of non fried chicken wings being sold at the State Fair of Texas, and I never miss a year, they were called "Buffalo Wings". No one knew what in the world they were. Visions of flying buffalos were spinning aound in the brains of thousands of fair goers. No one guessed that this was some kind of chicken wing that stared in Buffalo NY. Hey, were in Texas. The folks at the booth, right near BIG TEX, had to explain. The wings went over great because everyone was talking about them. And, they tasted real good! There was always a long line to get them.

That may be so, but we didn't call them Buffalo wings in CNY and WNY, we just called them "wings." In fact, my Buffalo friends still call them "wings." I doubt they called it "Buffalo" wings, too. Even in Syracuse, in the early 70's we just ordered wings - there was no other style. By the mid-80's, the "Buffalo" part was added, as people got creative and started making honey bbq wings and such. I don't have to tell you how upset I was when I ordered "wings" and got something other than Buffalo wings.

I have had the buffalo chicken pizza from Upper Crust, a chain from Eastern Mass that has found its way onto the Roadfood list of restaurants (not sure why--it is better than average pizza pie you can get in the 'burbs, but nothing too special).

Anyway, part of the thrill for me of buffalo chicken is the dip and the celery. This pie, at least, didn't have any celery and didn't have enough bleu cheese (which doesn't seem to me to have the proper melting properties for decent pizza anyway). What resulted was too spicy and too salty. If we want buffalo wings, we get...buffalo wings.

On a side note, I made buffalo chicken lasagna once, and that was pretty good (notwithstanding the lack of celery, which I will add next time).

I used to make Buffalo chicken calzones when I worked at Old Chicago years ago. It was just oven roasted chicken with a little ranch dressing, a little house made hot wing sauce, mozzarella and provolone cheeses.It was excellent!! I also used to make a Buffalo chicken sandwich and Caesar salad. I haven't worked there for years so I don't know if they still have these items on their menu.

I like Buffalo chicken Pizza IF IT IS MADE right. I have tried some dang bad ones. Pappa Johns here in St.Louis had one for a while that was BBQ chicken Pizza. I waited a long time to try it.

I tried it by accident as we ordered 10 pizzas for a Pizza party and for soem reason a BBQ chicken Pizza was delivered by mistake. I will say. I really liked that pizza. The sauce was a BBQ sauce.

Now, they do nto have that pizza anymore.

I liked the Pizza Hut version of this pizza, it was like a pizza/hot wing hybrid. I have never had another version I enjoyed, although a local pizzeria here doesn't do too bad at it.

I am not a pizza purist, but I love my pizza to be pizza and my hot wings to have bones in them, lol.
