(JoeEats)

Although they are both mini-chains, I'm very fond of Kitchenette and Petite Abeille. Kitchenette is a kitschy diner with great traditional breakfasts. Petite Abeille is Belgian, great waffles and omelettes. I like the Hudson St. location.

RE: Where In New York City? (fabulousoyster)

Alice's Tea Cup is a nice place if your date likes tea.
73rd Street. I've been there too, nice breakfast but you will have to wait!

http://www.alicesteacup.com/

RE: Where In New York City? (fabulousoyster)

Sarabeths Central Park South.
Nice place. Buy your date a gift of Sarabeths marmalades to take home, I think Plum Cherry and Apricot Orange are the best.
http://www.sarabethscps.com/

RE: Where In New York City? (billyboy)

When you say a full breakfast place, what exactly do you mean? A place that just serves breakfast? A place with a buffet? Is neighborhood or price a factor? Are you looking for an only in NY breakfast or any type of breakfast? Most places do brunch on Sundays only. A few do Saturdays.

Check out this link to a breakfast thread I posted a while back. I hope it's helpful.

http://www.roadfood.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=23650
Where In New York City?
