They were outstanding. The best part was they were on sale for $5.00 a lb and cut 2 inches thick, just the way we liked them. I bring this thought back now because they are on sale again this week at my local market (Not Kroger) for $4.99 a lb. The only thing that prevents me from ordering a dozen or so is that we still have 4 from the last order, and we are trying to empty the freezer before heading south to Mobile in 2 weeks. This is not a good time to restock...no matter how good it looks right now.
I can honestly say the day of the $10.00 = 2 lb Porterhouse is still here !

Remember these?

RE: Porterhouse Steak (Big_g)

A Great show....now I'm ready for lunch.

RE: Porterhouse Steak (brisketboy)

Makes you wonder why some people will turn a beautiful peice of meat and cook it until is only fit to resole shoes. We have people here like that and I refuse to go to dinner with them any more. They see blood on my plate and freak.

RE: Porterhouse Steak (Russ Jackson)

Well done that was like crack for foddies...Russ

RE: Porterhouse Steak (brisketboy)

THAT was beautiful. Went to the link and what I saw was artistry in meat. Are more and more resturaunts plating the steak already sliced, and I am assuming that steak was for more than one person.

Porterhouse Steak (BeefAficionado)

I just uploaded some new photos that I will use on my blog in the near future.
