I did the bologna thing years ago, but it never did do it for me. I love English muffins, but I think a hard roll contains the mixture better, especially if the eggs are scrambled. Cheese is good and I would suggest a little shredded cheese incorporated into the eggs as you are scrambling them.

RE: Scrambeled eggs and bologna (southpaw)

yeah, straight up bologna and scrambeled eggs with ketchup!

RE: Scrambeled eggs and bologna (Oneiron339)

What also works: Taylor Pork Roll and Eggs, PA Sweet Bologna and Eggs, even straight bologna and eggs, all sound good to me.

RE: Scrambeled eggs and bologna (KOK)

Salami and eggs is an old time kosher-style deli treat. No reason it wouldn't work just as well with bologna.

If you buy a Hebrew National chub salami, cut it into 1/4" thick slices (score around the edges so they don't curl so much) and fry up with eggs to your desired doneness. I've never seen a H.N. chub bologna, only the sliced, but sliced would work just as well.

Now the cheese on top ................

'Kosher' Kevin
