I didn't take a picture of the house salad, though. It was in a LARGE bowl, and consisted of shredded lettuce, and other veggies. I didn't have this, but the ones who did really liked it.

RE: Maury's Tiny Cove-Cincinnati {pics} (jmckee)

Years ago, when my wife and I would go to Taste of Cincinnati, she would always start with Maury's marinated vegetable salad and end with a second helping. We never went to the restaurant, because it did not feature a no-smoking section at the time. Sooz, did you notice if that salad is still on the menu?

I used to hear Ray Scott on WNOP-AM do commercials for Maury's . . .

RE: Maury's Tiny Cove-Cincinnati {pics} (Scorereader)

drool!

RE: Maury's Tiny Cove-Cincinnati {pics} (Rusty246)

I'd like to know what they breaded the shrimp with. I had heard mixed reviews, but we were all very satisfied with food and service. The current owner, Paul Yamaguchi, was very involved with our dining experience, making sure we were satisfied with every aspect of our meal.

When Paul asked about my picture taking, I told him about Roadfood. He was very interested, and let me take his picture, too!!

Here he is by the front door, featuring a cow with a martini:

Same cow with martini on the outdoor signage:

FRENCH ONION SOUP:

CAESAR SALAD:

PRIME RIB {my friend ordered it medium, which I think is overcooked, but it wasn't mine, and she enjoyed it}:

Fried Shrimp with spinach & noodles-While I am not usually a fan of fried, these was not greasy and very crunchy & meaty:

My Filet & Shrimp, with sides of bearnaise & cocktail sauce:

Veg of the day-Brussel sprouts- with filet & lobster tail in the back:

Hamburger Steak for the senior member of our group. This really looks good:

And, last, but not least, Twin Lobster Tails:

This was really a great meal and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Overall a great dining experience. I highly recommend it for a retro steakhouse experience.
