Char Grill gives me severe indigestion. It might actually be the grilling that does it, I don't know. Anyway, Fat Daddy's has probably the best buns of any burger place I've eaten.

I've tried for years to become a fan of Char Grill. I like everything about their place except the food. The concept is great, but actually eating a Hamburger Jr. makes me reach for Zantac every time.

Fat Daddy's also does a fantastic rib-eye steak sandwich. The burgers are usually pretty good and they have malt vinegar on the tables for the french fries.

We have a Char-Grill that opened around the corner from us here in Cary. I agree, a great burger.

I agree Char-Grill has a wonderful burger!

I'm not a real fan of the Fat Daddy's/Fuddruckers stryle burgers. I much prefer the Char-Grill in the Raleigh area.

Kinda sounds like Fuddruckers which has a 1-lb burger. Yum Yum.

I have never tried it -- but right now I wish it were within 'walking' distance -- sounds great.

Anyone ever tried Fatdaddys in Raleigh NC> The best burgers. They come plain. You can order chili on the side if you want. You walk over to this salad bar and can add as much lettuce, tamato, pickle, mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions..etc.etc as you wish....Burgers come in 1/3, 1/4, and 1/2 pound size.
