I think I may have to try a package, just to see if they still taste as good.

Thanks for the help, folks!

RE: Coconut chocolate chip cookies (packaged) (stricken_detective)

I love all things coconut. I haven't the slightest idea of it's name or maker though. I'll ask my Dad if he remembers.

RE: Coconut chocolate chip cookies (packaged) (KimChee43)

Keebler makes these. I don't know their official name, though. I think they're still on grocery store shelves. Hope this helps.

Coconut chocolate chip cookies (packaged) (tarragon)

I don't know whether my memory is faulty or what, but I seriously do remember there being a coconut chocolate chip cookie when I was a kid. It was made by the same people that made the pecan sandy cookie--I think it was Nabisco brand, but really don't remember. I think the package was green in color, a light green. Even though they were packaged cookies, those coconut chocolate chip cookies were good.

What caused me to remember this is that I bought a package of Pepperidge Farm Tahiti coconut cookies recently, and just opened them up today and had several. They're coconut cookies with a chocolate filling, so the taste must be quite similar. OMG, though, I really should NOT eat coconut - it is way too rich!!!

Anyways, does anyone out there in roadfood.com land recall the packaged coconut chocolate chip cookies
