I love this pie and now I can make one!!!!  :) :) :) :) </description><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/fb.ashx?m=428160</link><pubDate>Thu, 28 Aug 2008 18:10:27 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>RE: Chocolate Shoo Fly Pie (CajunKing)</title><description> Barbara &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; sorry for the delay, been out with a bad back and not able to get around much &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; This is my granny's chocolate shoo fly pie, I hop you like &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Makes a 9-inch pie &lt;br&gt; Preheat oven to 375 degrees  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Bottom layer &lt;br&gt; 1 cup sugar &lt;br&gt; 1 tsp corn starch &lt;br&gt; 1 tsp flour &lt;br&gt; 1 1/2 tsp cocoa &lt;br&gt; 1 egg, beaten &lt;br&gt; 1/2 tsp vanilla &lt;br&gt; 1 1/2 tsp butter &lt;br&gt; 1 cup water &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Unbaked 9-inch pie shell &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt;    &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Top layer &lt;br&gt; 1/2 cup brown sugar packed &lt;br&gt; 1/2 egg, beaten &lt;br&gt; 1 1/2 tsp cocoa &lt;br&gt; 1/4 cup lard &lt;br&gt; 1/2 cup molasses mixed with 1/2 cup hot water (dark karo works too) &lt;br&gt; 1/2 tsp vanilla &lt;br&gt; 1 1/4 cups flour &lt;br&gt; pinch of salt &lt;br&gt; 1/2 tsp baking soda &lt;br&gt; 1/4 tsp cinnamon &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Directions &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Bottom Layer &lt;br&gt; Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook until thick &lt;br&gt; When cooled, pour into unbaked pie shell &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Top Layer &lt;br&gt; Mix brown sugar, egg, cocoa, lard, molasses and vanilla until well mixed  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Add remaining ingredients and set aside until water has cooled  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Pour on top of bottom layer &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes &lt;br&gt;  </description><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/fb.ashx?m=428159</link><pubDate>Mon, 25 Aug 2008 17:23:23 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Chocolate Shoo Fly Pie (Barbarainnc)</title><description> I'm looking for a tried and true recipe.
