In fact they are pushing out the original Hamptons residents (&amp;quot;The Bonakers&amp;quot; who are local fisherman who have lived there for generations). &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Anyway, the article stated that a few restaurants have opened for the recent immigrants with their home foods, tacos, etc. The wealthy Hamptons people would never think of setting foot in these places (which are real &amp;quot;Road Food&amp;quot; kinds of food.) so some restaurantuers are making crossover food, hiring local Mexican and other Latin folks to cook their traditional foods, maybe make them more upscale (and charge a fortune!). &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Interesting colonization, no? </description><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/fb.ashx?m=433203</link><pubDate>Thu, 28 Aug 2008 11:09:28 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
