I followed the link to Hollyeats. It mentions that the chicken is pan fried and then the heat is added. Is this just a sauce or hot gravy topping? Darn, I lived in those parts for nearly 2 years and never heard of the place. My spouse is Nashville born and bred and never heard of it.

I'm from Nashville area, and have been playing at cooking some hot chicken for years. I still can't get anywhere close. I've searched all the previous threads for ideas. Any recent developments?

Maybe I'll just give in and drive the 45 minutes to Prince's on Saturday...
