I've had a few that I didn't care for at all, specifically Railbender Ale, Mad Anthony's Ale, and Presque isle Pilsner, from the Erie Brewing Co. It's not that they were bad it's that they weren't as good as other choices would have been. It's easy to make beer and stick a cool label on it, it's hard to make good beer.
RE: Bud Light Lime (leethebard)

!!!!

RE: Bud Light Lime (firecommander3565)

leethebard,

"The St. Pauli girl was a hooker!!!!!!"

All the reason to love the beer even more!

RE: Bud Light Lime (MilwFoodlovers)

OT:
Is there such a thing as an unskunky Heineken?
I've had Jamaican brewed Heineken while in Jamaica and liked them but here in the States every one I've ever tried tasted like it sat in an unairconditioned Florida warehouse for a year.

RE: Bud Light Lime (leethebard)

quote:

Well, in my day St. Pauli Girl was my beer of choice, but I have not had a beer in a few years.

It was explained to me years ago that St. Pauli Girl was a beer brewed in Germany exclusively for the Americam market...NOT sold in Germany...they brewed what they thought Americans would like...the final kicker, as it was explained to me was: The St. Pauli girl was a hooker!!!!!!

RE: Bud Light Lime (firecommander3565)

Well, in my day St. Pauli Girl was my beer of choice, but I have not had a beer in a few years.

RE: Bud Light Lime (leethebard)

quote:

Bud, Miller, Coors, Molson's, Heinekin, Michelob, Amstel, it's all swill to me....

Loca craft brews are the way to go

Except for Yuengling,I tend to drink microbrews..or a good English Ale like Samuel Smith...good Beer to me is like good wine...to be sipped and appreciated...if I'm thirsty for something simply wet...I'll drink water or diet soda...but it's just a matter of my taste buds...as I always say, to each his own!!!!

RE: Bud Light Lime (wanderingjew)

Bud, Miller, Coors, Molson's, Heinekin, Michelob, Amstel, it's all swill to me....

Loca craft brews are the way to go

RE: Bud Light Lime (leethebard)

Yup...and you're probably right...throw something at a wall...and if it sticks good...trouble is most of what they throw...slides right down!!!

RE: Bud Light Lime (firecommander3565)

I bet they will not be brewing this swill in a year from now.
