Thanks everyone for the good advice. Yeah,I noticed not one of those places said anything about being closed anytime during Thanksgiving week, so I guess I better call. Right now here it's sunny,really nice to be out today. Our pony mail lady Dee was out today for some doctor appointments,so I ran the pony mail.It was nice to get out of the printshop and drive around to the different schools and deliver the district inter department mail.
Don't have a digital camera, but maybe my sister or Ross can post our photos .Any idea how i can turn camera photos into digital ones
and post them here?

Unlike most of the others City Market is open on Sundays.

HollyDolly, you are fortunate. I can't get any family or friends to go on a BBQ tour with us - even if I'm buying! The daughter's family once, but it was like they were doing me a favor. Have a great trip and don't forget the trip report!

My guess is that they'd only be closed Thanksgiving day. I'd call them, though.

Say folks, my sister and her boyfriend are coming down from New York the week of Thanksgiving. They want to go to City Market in Luling and also try some of the bbq in Lockhart. Do any of you know if these places close the week of Thanksgiving? I'm sure they are closed Thanksgiving day, but was wondering about that week,so we can make plans.I may wind up calling these places to see.
