I've never seen any in the NYC area. Has anybody ever seen them in a USA McDonald's?

It seems that overseas, a McCafe is more than a spot for a expresso machine. It is a coffee house built adjacent to a regular McDonald's. Here is a picture of one in Hong Kong:
http://flickr.com/photos/20741443@N00/232283970

For one at Düsseldorf International Airport:
http://www.duesseldorf-international.de/grafiken/cms/normalbild/McCafe.jpg

RE: McCafe (wheregreggeats.com)

Who do they think they are kidding ...

... gross.

RE: McCafe (Adjudicator)

quote:

quote:

Why is McDonald's screwing around with wretched gourmet coffee?

$$$$$$$Cha Ching$$$$$$$

Oh yes.

RE: McCafe (sgtboots)

I am not a coffee drinker, but I tried the new hot chocolate. The first few drinks aren't bad, but then it gets sickening. I ordered a small and only drank about 1/3 of it.

Way too sweet.

RE: McCafe (NebGuy)

Nice video Brad.

I've been to many games at the frozen tundra so I'm quite familiar with the diehard cheeseheads. People not familiar with NE WI would think it's some sort of parody but I can assure you he's an accurate representation of a lot of people who live up there. It had to be the worst cup of coffee that I have ever tasted. Even the teenagers who thrive on this stuff say these new coffees are horrid.
