UPDATE:

I am 99% sure I have fixed this. To be sure, click the logout button which will clear most of the cookies on the site. Afterwards, sign back into the site with the "remember me" checkbox selected. It should persist for the next 60,000,000 seconds!

The only way I can troubleshoot this issue is to be able to replicate it - unfortunately, I have been unable to do that, even on multiple computers. I am not going to give up, but this issue will take longer than others to figure out. Thanks for your patience.

Yes that is the screen that I have to go to, to login, and each time I check the keep me logged in

It doesn't keep you signed in with Safari 3.2.1 either.

I'm using Safari 3.2.1 as well on all three of my Macs. I have had no problems.

IE7 - Windows XP Pro
I cleared:

History - Cookies - Temp Files - Form Data - Passwords
Still having to login everytime

On the upside, I got to stack the vote for my favorite potato :-)

It was working, but then I got an email subscription notification. I clicked on the thread link & got connected to the proper thread, but I wasn't logged in. Closed & reopenned my browser and went to Roadfood home page. Had to log in again.

It's now less than 100%; I've tried that on two machines, didn't work on either. Firefox 3.0.5, one Vista and one XP Professional.

I still love the new format and look, I know the bugs will get worked out.

I 'm using IE ver 8 (beta ?) and I haven't a clue how to accomplish what you described.

You must remember that when I was at Cornell, anything we did where a computer was involved required the use of (sometimes huge) decks of IBM 026 punch cards!

I cleaned my wife out of all her cashe, now she's broke.
I ate all the cookies in the house and I'm still hungry.
have no idea how to do that stuff.
for a browser we have Microsoft internet explorer with positraction & a 4 speed.

I can't stay signed in since the last change and I am using Firefox 3.0.5 on the Mac for what it's worth.

..it is hit or miss with me too and I have the same setup...also sometimes when I pull up a newly posted on thread to view I wind up looking at the first post on the topic and not the last???!!!!!!! Why is that??
