(mjambro)

Had an excellent breakfast not too far from Putnam yesterday at Lizzy B's on Rt 14 near the intersection of 14A in Sterling, CT. It's a small, older, country cafe type breakfast place in a small, older strip mall. Excellent blueberry pancakes served with real maple syrup, very good coffee, excellent bacon and Italian toast with very good omelets & potatoes at reasonable pricing. If a small cafe style breakfast is desireable, it's a few miles east of exit 88 / I-395 (about 3 miles east on 14A and 1/4 mile back on rt 14, on left).
Breakfast in Putmam CT.
