(TacoDrew)

Oh, man... you've hit on my hot button!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that nowhere in Ohio has anything near the quality and diversity of true Mexican food that Columbus does. The taco truck scene here is incredible (40+ taco trucks and counting...), and the significant influx of latinos means that there's a phenomenal culture of latino cooking.

I've been to every taco truck in Columbus (at least that we know of), and I'll throw down this challenge to all and sundry - go to the Los Guachos taco truck, order an 'al pastor gringa', and then tell me that there's better Mexican to be found in Ohio with a straight face! Bet ya can't do it!

More on Los Guachos: http://tacotruckscolumbus...009/05/13/los-guachos/
Re:Best Mexican in Ohio? (chilidogart)

For the pilgrimages to Jungle Jims, try Cancun at the plaza just north of Kemper on Hamilton Avenue. Their guac is pretty tasty, and try the beef (real not hamburger) chimi. Carne Asada tacos - yum!
Re:Best Mexican in Ohio? (chilidogart)

El Pueblo, north east of Cincy in Blue Ash on Hunt Road just off Reed Hartman Highway.
Lunch is a total addiction and habit for us on Saturdays.
Their Enchiladas Verdes is always fresh, amazingly delish tomatillos taste fresh from the garden, filled with stewed chicken, bursting with flavor. The pork carnitas lunch is my husband's favorite. And if you shop at the Blue Ash Kroger, check the back of your receipt for coupons!
Oh, and their guacamole is almost as good as mine according to my family.
Re:Best Mexican in Ohio? The one guy is originally from San Antonio and he has eaten at every Mexican joint in Dayton and has pronounced that Taco Loco has the closest approximation to San Antonio tacos of his past. He also says that Taqueria Mixteca off Third is a very close second.

Taco Loco
5392 Burkhardt Rd
Dayton, OH 45431-2110

Re:Best Mexican in Ohio?
