We recently tried the Bacon Swiss (no Mushrooms) Burger from Rally's. It was pretty good for a quickie FF Burger. I do like Swiss (or Provelone) much more than the usual American (or Cheese Wiz) on my Burgers! Plus the Bacon Swiss a a special going for 2/$4.00 or the combo of Burger-Seasoned Fries and a Coke for $4.00 Not a bad quickie lunch!

Hardee's mushroom and swiss burger is what keeps me going back to Hardees. They're well above McDonald's or Burger King in my area. But I think the franchise owners have A LOT to do with these places in terms of quality and cleanliness, even moreso than the parent company.

I might have to try that sometime. I do like the Mushroom and Swiss from Hardees though the burger itself is questionable in its quality. Might have to try this on my own burgers.

I responded to you and gave you a recipe. In the same post I mentioned that it was in the wrong forum. I did not realize that I also had to email you in addition to telling you in my post.

I do want to thank you for the link to recipe, I plan on grilling out this weekend and will make it to go with some angus 80/20 ground beef.

I am sorry if I came off a bit short... I had a problem on a different post where someone made a very crude remark that irked me for their being so rude. Sorry if I upset or offended you as that was not how it was meant.

I don't know, but from what I have seen so far it is obvious several people felt the same way. I wish these people had emailed me instead of going to someone else and getting it moved. I found out when I went to read the posts.

That would be hard to do since the burger is precooked, preseasoned, and full of artificial flavors to begin with.

I don't plan to use a Hardee's burger for sure. I actually use 73/27 when I grill out, the flavor is even better to me than 80/20.

I'm going to the store tomorrow to pick up some ground beef and will see how the mushroom sauce comes out.

Acxtually, this should be moved to the Fast Food forum.

The recipe for this "sauce" is all over the internet........sounds like you get your week's supply of sodium in one sitting.

Does anyone know what is in the sauce Hardee's uses for their mushroom & swiss burger? I love them and could eat them everyday. I know, it's a chain but I do like their angus thick burgers and especially the mushroom & swiss.
