The picture of last years infield and this years infield was highly misleading.

The Belmont? Mind that Bird
Re:Preakness--Can She Do It ? Yep, She Can ! (mayor al)

Both the Filly and the Derby-winner are doing workouts at Churchill Downs, pending moving up to N Y for Mind that Bird and the decision as to whether she will run in the Belmont for Rachel Alexander.

Churchill Downs has cut several days out of it's Spring meet as a result of fewer horses being available to run the daily ticket. The hassle is over Kentucky's refusal (so far) to permit Slots and other gambling at the track, which is said to bring in more money and thus, larger purses that attract more racing participants. There seems to be genuine concern for the future of racing in the Bluegrass State.

Re:Preakness--Can She Do It ?
