﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><rss version="2.0"><channel><title>FAVORITE DISH WITH FRESH BAMBOO SHOOT SEASON</title><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/</link><description /><copyright>(c) Roadfood.com Discussion Board</copyright><ttl>30</ttl><item><title>FAVORITE DISH WITH FRESH BAMBOO SHOOT SEASON (Born in OKC)</title><description>  &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;Little Szechuan &lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;on Buford Highway is our favorite Chinese place in Atlanta and proprieter Kong Ko&amp;nbsp;currently has dishes made with fresh bamboo shoots as he does each year.&amp;nbsp; We had a good&amp;nbsp;dish with chicken and bamboo shoots last visit.&amp;nbsp; One time in the past we had, on request, a&amp;nbsp;vegetable dish with bamboo shoots, cabbage, mushrooms, etc.&amp;nbsp; It had never occurred to me but Kong says that the bamboo shoots seen in open barrels in Chinese grocers are loaded with preservatives and are not to be used.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;      &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;      I hope others will name dishes they have enjoyed that incorporated fresh bamboo shoots and&amp;nbsp;tell us &amp;nbsp;where they ate then , &lt;b&gt;&lt;U&gt;and also &lt;/U&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;name other Chinese dishes that are seasonal with fresh ingredients.&amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt;      &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;      &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  </description><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/fb.ashx?m=513755</link><pubDate>Sun, 24 May 2009 20:07:11 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
