Just curious as to whether or not it's still there.

Re:Nokomis, FL; burgers at Anita's (Rusty246)

 Above that.

Re:Nokomis, FL; burgers at Anita's (shortchef)

I just tried that. It is 2 miles north of Venice and about 10 miles south of Sarasota. Nokomis is just a little bitty place and if you blink, you'll miss it.

Nokomis, FL; burgers at Anita's (shortchef)

Last year we moved here to Nokomis; one of the guys we had working on the house told us about the best burger around--Anita's Family Restaurant in Nokomis (Rt. 41, Tamiami Trail, South Nokomis).&nbsp; We went there and it was just as he said. Juicy, thick, grilled burgers, good fries, fresh veggies--big slices of red tomato, nice lettuce, thick slice of sweet onion.&nbsp; I eat mine rare and it was just perfect.&nbsp; If you are driving 41, be sure to hit this one.&nbsp; Nice folks, too! <br>
