Yep, sometimes you just have to have those fries! I don't really go to McD's much, but those fries will call out sometimes!

There's Little Caesars all over Detroit (obviously). Earlier this year, Mike Ilitch announced that he plans to expand the franchise again.

Five pages and not one nod to the A&W Root Beer Float? SLACKERS!

I also do Hardee's for big burgers and shakes with ice cream in them, and will do Burger King when whoppers are 2 for $4, which they are now. McD's had a double quarter pounder last summer when Big Beautiful Mich was out of town, and the dog and I would split one. Dog got the lower patty, I got the rest, then we'd share fries. I also liked McD's peppermint sundaes, which are a Christmas thing, and orange shakes, which sort of taste like children's aspirin, but good.

Currently my every-morning, almost-can't-skip-it is an Egg McMuffin meal from you-know-where. I put the hash brown patty on the sandwich.

More of a treat item is the Taco Bell Empanada -- man, is that sweet and gooooooooooood!

Baker's Square French Silk Pie & their cinnamon roll french toast (but I have to take my own real maple syrup); Cheesecake Factory White Chocolate Caramel Latte® Cheesecake; Noble Roman's breadsticks with nacho cheese dip; Fazoli's greasy, garlicky breadsticks; Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits ... I'm noticing a trend here ...

Hmmmm, oddly no desserts. But I do like the McD's sundaes...

If we're talking just desserts from chain restaurants I'd have to go with the Paradise Pie from Chili's, the bikini banana dessert from Applebee's that they don't make anymore and a good old fashioned hot fudge sundae with peanuts from Mickey D's!

There is no Friendly's here in East TN, but when I go back home to New England, I always get a Reese Peanut butter cup sundae with hot fudge and hot peanutbutter sauce. And chopped almonds, not walnuts.

Around here, OCharley's makes a good caramel pie. Everyone makes a hot fudge brownie/ice cream dessert, kind of eh. But Gatlinburg has a place called The park Grille with great fresh made desserts

the queso at "ON THE BORDER" is better tasting than most mexican or tex-mex places. When I moved to Texas I weas told that the difference between tex-mex and mexican is tex-mex uses velveeta in the queso instead of real cheese.

French Silk pie, most definitely, or, even better is their Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme. As for their entrees, speaking as someone who used to be married to a man who insisted on eating dinner before ANY dessert, even one that had 2,500 calories per bite, you're right, they're pretty awful. XD

Aside from that, my votes go to:
Stuffed jalapenos from Jack in the Box, all the better for having only one Weight Watcher point per pepper.
Breadsticks from Fazoli's, the ultra-greasy, salty ones that have been under the others in the server's basket.
Tofu and Eggplant from Panda Express

Oh, and I still have glorious memories from when I used to work at Baskin Robbins: A malt, made from German Chocolate Cake ice cream, no syrup, and at least triple malt powder... Ahhh

I love the Cherry Turnover at Arby's - absolutely one of the best turnovers. I also love the fried apple pies at KFC. The strawberry pie and hot fudge cake at Shoney's. And a great banana split at Dairy Queen.
