Thick, crispy, crinkly, and always fresh cut! Also serving up home made Giant Funnelcakes, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Cotton Candy, and Nathan Hot Dogs. Be sure to make a stop at Jilly's French Fry Factory while visiting the Ocean City Boardwalk.

Simple uncomplicated boardwalk food that traditionally has but a few ingredients (fries and lemonade) include alot of interactive process (visual experience and memories) when it comes to expectations of those who have experienced this process for years. Off the boardwalk is something you cannot control. However when you also remove (and replace) the open visuals of fresh hand cut fries in a location so close to the actual venue of the Jersey boardwalks...that is tricky business. Patrons will not only communicate their Jersey Boardwalk fries experiences they will expect the same product and process from you...as advertised. Many will not hesitate to ask about your product before and after service. That is when you may hear some unhappy folks who do not equate Jersey Boardwalk fries with frozen product...no matter how good it happens to be.

Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (John A)

I've had the Boardwalk Fries done in a greaseless fryer that Tara (Roossy90) referred to, at a different location, and thought they were terrific.

Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (Holly Moore)

Been a while since I've been there. In the hopes Curley's is still around and still just as good - consider Curley's Fries in North Wildwood NJ.
Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (CCinNJ)

There are two things I know about the term "taters" on a menu...

1. People easily get confused and think they are mashed potatoes or any number of different potato forms...other than fries.

2. Folks here really do not subscribe to the cutsie "taters and maters" terminology on a menu.

I would not break my behnd trying to track down any frozen potato for fries. They may be good (compared to other frozen fries) but there is nothing that will come out of a frozen bag that will match the taste texture and quality of a real fresh-cut potato fried in peanut oil and finished with a quality sea salt. They money you save (avoiding the middle man) can be used to purchase a commercial peeler and fry cutter. They will fly and there most likely will not be any need to consider holding time.
Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (David_NYC)

I tried researching this thread, and came up against a brick wall. The JerseyShoreFry web site that Tommy B gave us is a "ghost" web site, since it does not offer a product for sale to consumers or food professionals. A reverse lookup of the phone number on the web site of JerseyShoreFry shows up as "Cluck U Corporate Office" in New Jersey. It does not seem to be a web site promoting a brick-and-mortar restaurant. CluckU is based in Maryland, not New Jersey. How Tommy B found out the fries are made by Cavendish Farms, and who he bought them from (unless he "liberated" them from one of the New Jersey CluckU's) is also not given.

This thread leads down into a dead end.

Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (Pancho)

Just a bit further south in Ocean City, MD....these are my favorite!
http://www.oceancity.com/wiki/index.php/Thrashers
Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (Dog Boss)

HEY Tommy, i don't about those frozen ones that your testing, but i do like the boardwalk fries outside the TAJ , in Atlantic City..........

Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (Tommy B)

hi roossy, thank you very much for the picture.

These are Boardwalk Fries, which is a different company than the Jersey Shore Fries.

http://jerseyshorefry.com/menu.php
Re:JERSEY SHORE FRIES (Boardwalk Cut) With Sea Salt (roossy90)

Are these for personal use or for professional kitchens......
When you said case, it made me think that you have a restaurant..
Sometimes you cannot get product retail that is usually sold to restaurants..

I have had these "Boardwalk" fries at little shop in FLa....LOL..They were quite good.
