Yes, indeed, Palomino is still open.
For lunch? Not sure - but definitely for dinner and weekend Brunch.

And hey, S_D? Ferch's, located in Greendale, serves Green River phosphate.

There is a cadre of MKE and IL ppl that get together regularly to eat - but mostly dinner.

This place is great for Cuban and I used to live in Miami and Key West....I only wish they had one here in Madison. I'd be there very often.

The one up by the cop shop in the 'Sha. It's across the street from Moon's Auto Repair & there's a dr's office across the street & $tarbuck$, and MACK'S Frozen Custard.

I especially like George Webb's breakfasts. i have never had my over easy eggs done incorrectly.Bob likes their double cheeseburger with fried onins and pickles( he will have that for breakfast) As far as their hashbrowns, we love them with cheese. We do ask for them well done and they come out quite crispy.Maybe it all depends on location-Aimee, which Webbs do you tend to go to?

I'm surprised that I've never heard of George Webb restaurants until this evening, as I've driven all over the Milwaukee metro area, plus Kenosha and Racine, and I've never seen one. Is George's food better than that at the big family restaurant chains like Denny's and Perkin's? If so, what menu item(s) at Webb's would y'all recommend?

It's WAY better!

I like the poached eggs & toast. I like the pancakes. I like the corndogs. I like the coffee. I like the steak & eggs.

George Webb's however, has hash whites. That's right. You can order them well done, they still won't be crispy. If that is what you're after, then don't even bother. Aside from that, I've never had a bad meal there.
