There are a few sites on the web that feature photos of beverage cans. I once did find a picture of a can, either on ebay or on one of those can collector sites.

i just remember the brown cow, as a brown can and a cow. never any bottles(before my time). found at many hot dog stands. bought cases at the old REX GENES warehouse store in Linden, nj. (there gone too).

I remember having it in the small brown cans too, growing up in Brooklyn. I don't ever remember seeing it in bottles. For some reason I associate the Chocolate Cow cans with Steeplechase Park in Coney Island. I guess it was sold there.

I think you are talking about Chocolate Cow. It was made by Threemor Corporation. Does this image of a toy truck jog your memory? I used to buy it in small brown cans:

I don't know what happened to them, but trademark records show the trademark was assigned to Yoo Hoo. I always thought Chocolate Cow tasted better than Yoo Hoo.

Is that also like Chocolate Moose? Was it a bottled drink or a soda fountain drink like chocolate ice cream and root beer? I think some places refer to that as a Brown Cow.

Please help me, WHAT happen to the Chocolate flavored BROWN COW drink that came out of New York ( i think Brooklyn)? i've been looking and looking, and, have come to a dead end. i allways thought it was better than YooHoo.

were they bought out? just went out of business?
