I have often wondered, while watching "COPS" on TV why so many people do not carry ID or their Driver's License when they go out. I mean ordinary people.. not just the criminals on that show. In my college teaching I would often require the students to produce ID in order to take an exam, to prevent 'substitute' test takers from helping the students cheat on a test. My Econ classes were often over 50 students, so knowing them by sight and name in a&nbsp;15 week term was more than I could handle without "proof' !! Many times the students would not have any ID at all, even though the requirement to show ID was repeated to them many times in the class sessions. <br> &nbsp; I am just curious as to why folks don't carry ID on their peraon??

Re:Things, you will always carry with yourself...?
