On the left just after you enter Gregg County will be Country Tavern on the left. Voted best ribs in Texas a few years back. Haven't been there much since they took the dance floor away in favor of more tables. However just driving by they still seem to attract a lot of traffic.

Week in Tyler Texas (Bella Caffe)

Alright, Im spending this week in Tyler TX working & Im not finding any suggestions on places to eat. Im working halfway between Lindale & Tyler & staying in Tyler. Being in TX Im looking for some suggestions on good Beef & Steaks (being from Memphis, its hard for me to call beef BBQ but I'll still eat it!) Plus anything else worth eating while Im here. 7 nights & Im hoping I wont have to venture into a fast food place or a chain any of them but I just cant find any suggestions on the forums! Hopefully someones got something to steer me towards. Theres one thing I hate (not quite as bad as chains) is going into what I think is a local joint & getting served mediocre "chain" food or just all around bad food!
