Don't forget Doe's in Paducah,KY less than halfway to Greenville, MS from the Windy City...and it is operated by the Son of the Doe's owner...not a franchise. Although TTM testifies to the same quality at the Little Rock Doe's, and it IS a franchise operation.

That's a really great-looking porterhouse. It's got me thinking about the mind-boggling steak that I had last February at Doe's Eat Place ( a mere six hundred miles from Chicagoland. )

Nice Job on the steaks. I started flipping the steaks at the 1 1/2 minute mark as opposed to 1 1/2 minutes quarter turn 1 1/2 minutes flip. It allows the steak to sear on both sides as opposed letting the juices rise thru the uncooked top for 3 minutes. I then flip back to get the final grill marks....Russ
