Gourmet Burgers (Antihound)

Here in LA there seems to be a battle of the gourmet burger. Places like Father's Office, Umami Burger, 25 Degreee, 8oz Burger all have their secret recipes for a gourmet burger. I haven't been to any of those places yet, but I was wondering if other cities are seeing gourmet burger places opening up?
