Surprise! Surprise!

I opened the Classifieds Section of Yesterday's Phoenix AZ Tribune and Lo and Behold, there was an Ad in the Franchises Section for Hot Dog U titled "Ever Dreamed Of Opening A Hot Dog Stand?" It invites Future Doggers to Chitown to attend the 2 day HDU Training Program. Chicagostyledog has gone Big Time!

Marcus LeShock's piece on Hot Dog University will not run during the WGN 9:00pm News. However, they may run it during tomorrow's Noon Newscast, which will be shown on the satellite, available to anyone who receives WGN America.

I'm hoping they'll show the official Hot Dog University song and dance routine, which is similar to the Seinfeld episode of Newman & Kramer making sausages. Not 100% sure it will run at 9:00pm...Better to watch it at 5:00pm if possible; Marcus will have a Vienna Beef cart set up in our newsroom, selling CSDs to the staff. If they do replay the story at 9:00, it will be without the live shots in the newsroom. Catch-22: The 9:00pm showing will be on the satellite, viewable to anyone who picks up WGN America. The 5:00pm airing will only be available in the Chicagoland broadcast area.
