Congrats to Zach. He came down from Milwaukee to attempt this. He did break the record, eating the 3lb burger in 13 mins 50 sec. There are some pics on his website Bergg vs Food Yes, he is a big Man V Food fan. They are gonna put up a vid as well.

On a side note, Dan, who set the record just 3 days prior, will be dropping back in on the 27th to try and reclaim the record

Just an update. The new time Zach aka Bergg has to beat is 14 min 11 sec, not 28 mins as the time was beaten again yest.

There is a new challenger to the 3lb Triple Undisputed. His name is Bergg out of Milwaukee.

It is taking place Jan 16th, a Saturday, at 1 pm if anyone wants to witness it.

That's a little faster then a pound every 10 mins. Doesn't seem to hard to do that. I did get a call from a Pro Competitive eater that was interested so the time might fall even more.

So it finally happened. The 16 month old record for eating the 3lb Triple Undisputed Burger aka the 911 the fastest was broken today.

Old record was 48 mins. New record 38 mins. I wonder how long this record will stand?

A local burger-blogger, Burger Beast, has accepted the publicized challenge to eat it in one hour.
