I was able to see Bourdain at his Des Moines talk in October. I was one of the last in line to get his autograph. I mentioned that he looked tired. His comment: "It beats peeling carrots."

Biker Jim, Kudos to you!. Can't wait to go to Colorado to visit you.

Congratulations for the great work and the well-deserved publicity. I think Anthony Bourdain should count himself fortunate to meet you. Hope to make it to Denver one of these days and have some of that outstanding food.

Congrats, Jim. I saw a show about a year ago that mentioned Tony grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey. It showed him visiting Hiram's, a popular Jersey hot dog joint.

First off, this guy can eat! He wolfed down the first 3 brats...started faltering a bit on number 4, looked a little like he was hurting by number 5. Us feeding him a slice of cheesecake for afters, well, that was just cruel. He is a seriously nice guy. We started getting a bit crowded with passerbys and he would sign anything, take a picture with anyone, answer any question. That evening he did a lecture in a theater of about 3500 people...wearing a Biker Jim T-Shirt. Almost peed my pants. I am the luckiest hot dog guy around.
