Craig,
Being a 'hoarder of sorts, I have several Slurpee and Big Gulp cups gathered from various raodtrip locations around the country. I also save the Sonic Hiway 44 size cups from the Cherry-Limeades and Slushes we buy locally.

Another price saver found today. I was about to buy a fifth of Knob Creek at the grocery store for $32.00 but decided to check it at Costco. Glad I did. I was able to purchase a Fifth of K.C. for $22.00 and a Litre bottle of Buffalo Trace for $23.00....Bargain prices for both!

Mayor Al...where are you getting a Slurpee Cup down here? Are there even any 7-11's In this part of the world? I could go for an actual Slurpee...not the fake frozen drink they serve at Circle K or Thorntons....

My very fav beverage is a Redneck Whiskey Sour...Knob Creek and MtnDew in a 64 oz Slurpee cup !! If you chill both the Bourbon and the Dew real cold you don't need to use any ice !!!!!

y'all might need that in WPB, but in Daytona it's still Budweiser & Moutain Dew.

ETR, ya, it can get (is) scary down here.. Benefiber would be an understatement. But here in WPB, go to Clematis Street and wish you where 21 again.. (And do check out Dr. Feelgoods, even though they stiff you with a 10 dollar cover charge to pay 6 bucks for a beer.. But the eye candy and bands...)...

UV...since they have done this "Limited run" 2 times now in the past 9 months, Im not sure what it means. Here in Louisville, my local Kroger had 12 packs of the Throwbacks well into the summer...it was supposed to be done by the end of June...they were selling 20oz bottles 2 for a buck by September to rid themselves of the product before the "best before" date expired...so who knows how it really did nationwide...hence why I think they redesigned the packaging...Im sure the focus groups told them the real story....

But I dunno, doing a limited run may be suicide for them.. Get a taste of the real deal and people will be demanding it year round.

Uncle Vic, you got lucky! Here's an article about the "new" throwbacks...they aren't supposed to be out until later this month! I do loves me some good sugar sod-ee! The article you referenced was from earlier this year. The throwbacks came out in last spring and were out for 8 weeks...this is round 2...

Hard to find in AK. though! No throwback anything unless it has been sitting on the shelf that long (could happen here.) We are in the last frontier as you all know.

So today I go shopping at Publix and had to do a double take.. Seen the old hillbilly logo on a Mountain Dew bottle (20oz).
That puppy came home with me! They call it Mt. Dew Throwback (guess they're doing it with Pepsi also). Made with real sugar! WOW!
