the menu prices seem reasonable.
I hate when they put the prices like that.

We tried a new burger joint in Milwaukee last week. What a concept, AJ Bombers lets you order burgers without fries.

They also have this "bomber" theme going on everywhere. These bombs run on overhead rails to deliver free peanuts to the tables.

The bombs drop the peanuts at these targets.

We ordered several appetizers to share. Left to right we have onion strings, sweet potato chips, and fries. We also had the Cheese Bullets. Our favorites were the onion strings and sweet potato chips. The chips were extremely thin and crisp. The Bomber Sauce was good for dipping, we think it was a mix of ketchup and ranch dressing.

This is my double AJ Burger with fried onions. This is an excellent burger, just the right amount of grease to go with that gooey American cheese.

Eric, our mushroom loving son, had the Bomber Burger, a cheese stuffed fried portabello stacked on a 1/4 pound burger. He added bacon and fried onions. His perfect burger.

Bobbi added bacon and a fried egg to her single AJ Burger.

Martin was not thrilled with his turkey burger, but Bobbi said it was good. He helped me finish my double AJ Burger.

Overall, a very enjoyable meal, with very good apps and burgers. The price at AJ Bombers does add up as you customize your burger. It is $1.50 more for bacon, $1.00 for egg, and fifty cent more for other toppings (onion, mushroom, jalapenos, or pickles).
