WWI ended 11/11/1918

If someone was 18 years of age and in Germany fighting on that day it would mean they were born in 1900----------got it so far ???????

Now using your trusty calculator subtract 1900 from 2010 -----that's right 110.

There ain't nobody on Roadfood 110, unless it is Michael Hoffman.

Besides which we weren't fighting the Japs in WWI.

I got to Japan itself a month after the war ended-----

And, there were no Japadog carts anywhere in sight. So I can
not give a first hand review. The Mediator has been to BC and
says the dogs are good, AOL showed a long line of hungry folk
waiting for them---that's all I can tell ya---that's the name of that tune.

Look for Japadog in your town soon-----the news is out.

I always thought you were older than Hoffman, but I guess we'll have to start calling you Junior. :)

Meaning no disrespect to either you or The Ancient Mariner, but he would need to be at least 90+ years of age to be on the planet now!
God Bless him if he is! But my guess is that he is a much younger man than that----but who knows for sure other than the Ancient Mariner hmself!!

I made a point of finding Japadog when I went to Vancouver two years ago. I was shattered to discover that the day I chose to buy one the cart wasn't there. Undaunted, however, I returned the next day and Japadog had returned to its customary location. It was worth the effort. Unique, delicious, satisfying, and inexpensive. What a great combination!

From what I have read the big star of the Winter Olympics in Vancover is a Japanese Hot Dog vendor.

People are waiting in line for over an hour for a JAPADOG-----

What's a Japadog you ask----well it is one of 4 they offer----

A Terimayo ----the top seller is an all beef dog with teriyaki sauce, Jap mayo, Fried onions and seaweed.

and if that doesn't get ya the Oiconomi might---that's a pork dog with the mayo/fried cabbage & Fish Flakes.

The other two I didn't hang around long enough to find out about.

Would you stand in line for as long as an hour and 1/2 and pay top dollar for a JAPADOG---no, me either.

But the video on AOL shows the line going half way back to California.
