We went there last summer, and it was good as always. They open on Mother's Day, and close in the fall,(not sure when). It is still BYOB, and bring anything they don't serve. We always bring wine, and glasses, as they provide small plastic ones. Many bring a small table cloth as well. In season, their corn is the best around. Lobster is very good, and they have a variety of seafoods.

I would say, go, enjoy, and tell us what you had, and how you liked it. :)

I apologize in advance to the true pros on the board. I don't know if this is the right location for this question but, here goes.....
I do not see the Chauncey Creek Lobster Pound, Kittery ME, in the maps or list of restaurants.
It was in the early edition of roadfood and goodfood... I was there two years ago and found it to be far superior to Boothbay Coop, Robinson's, and Haraseeket, much more reasonably priced then Beals and the ideal Maine tidal view.
I'm planning to head back DownEast and need to know from them that knows.....is it still worth giving up Bob's Clam on Route 1?
I did a search and found only very old references to it on the board, but the location seems to have a current web site, indicating they're still in Biz.....
Please help a newbie.
